Details for the NIWA Canterbury-Westland Schools’ Science and Technology Fair 2023

Information for primary, intermediate and secondary schools/Year 7-13 students:

• Entries close on  Monday 21st August. There will be no entry fee again in 2023.

Please fill in one School Entry Form per school, and a Project Entry Form for each exhibit being submitted. Further details can be found on the Entries Page

• Fair: Saturday 16th September, Ernest Rutherford Building at the University of Canterbury
• Prizegiving: Sunday 17th September, 11am
• Public Viewing: Saturday 16th September, PM, and Sunday 17th September, AM. 

Judging will take place on Saturday 17th September. School coordinators will be advised by email in the evening of, to inform of students who have won prizes and who need to attend the prize-giving ceremony on the Sunday (details will be announced closer to the time).
